Annual Mandatory Training

  • Refer to the list below for all the Annual Mandatory Training Packages.
  • Annual Mandatory requirements mean you need to complete every 12 months.
  • San Day Surgery Hornsby, please refer to your Manager for Mandatory Training requirements.

 

Adventist HealthCare Fire and Evacuation - eLearning

This package has replaced the previous 2 separate Fire Awareness and Emergency Evacuation packages. 

This package is to be completed annually by EVERYONE

AHCL Code Black First Responders: Refresher Videos

This is to be completed annually by all 1st Responders.  These are Wardsperson, Security and After Hours Managers (AHM)

You will need an enrolment key, please get this from your Manager.

AHCL Cyber Security Awareness - Doctor

This is required by ALL Doctors for the first time.

Then you will be required annually to complete the refresher training.

AHCL Cyber Security Awareness - Email User

This is required by ALL staff that have a hospital email address

You will be required annually to complete the refresher training.

AHCL Cyber Security Awareness - Non-email User

This is required by ALL staff that do not have a hospital email address.  

You will be required annually to complete the refresher training.

AHCL Hazardous Drug Spill - eLearning

This package needs to be completed annually by general nursing staff and non-nursing clinical staff (i.e. Pharmacists, Physiotherapists, Radiology Technicians, Operating Theatre Assistant's (OTA) and Wardsmen).

CLINICAL - Adventist HealthCare Infection Prevention & Control - eLearning

This is to be completed annually by all

  • Clinical Nursing Staff

AND

  • Non-Nursing staff members (ie. Doctors, Pharmacists, Physiotherapists, Radiology Technicians, Wardsmen)

NON CLINICAL - Adventist HealthCare Infection Prevention & Control - eLearning

This package must be completed annually by all Non-Clinical staff.

  • Non-Clinical Staff, include Non-ward Pharmacists, Hospitality, Food Services, Ward Clerks, Patient Services

CSSD Staff:  Please complete the CSSD IPC

Hospitatliy Staff:  Please complete the Hospitality IPC

Manual Handling Competency Assessment - O'Shea Safe Patient Handling

This is to be completed ANNUALLY by ALL CLINICAL Staff:

  • Nursing Staff AND
  • Non-Nursing Staff (ie Doctors, Physiotherapists, Radiology Technicians, Operating Theatre Assistant's (OTA) & Wardsmen)
