MRI Safety Level 1a
This course aims to highlight the importance of MRI safety for all non-radiology staff who access MRI areas. It ensures Level 1a staff can identify MRI hazards and associated risks, follow site-specific policies and procedures, recognise MRI Zones and screening requirements, and respond appropriately in emergency situations.
MRI Safety Level 1b
This course aims to highlight the importance of MRI safety for all radiology nurses who work in MRI. It ensures nurses can identify MRI hazards and associated risks, follow site-specific policies and procedures, recognise MRI Zones and screening requirements, and respond appropriately in emergency situations.
MRI Safety Level 2
This course aims to ensure that Level 2 MRI staff maintain the highest safety standards when working in MRI environments. Learners will develop the knowledge and skills to identify hazards, understand risks, follow site-specific policies, perform screening, manage high-risk patients, and respond effectively to MRI-related incidents. The course reinforces best practice principles and regulatory requirements to prevent injuries, equipment damage, and other MRI safety incidents.
